Helping travellers to manage their bookings.

Mid March. The UK Government begins to issue alerts on overseas travel. All airlines and travel companies are forced to grapple with the challenge of flying holiday-makers home and communicating with those who had bookings due to travel. The need to communicate clearly has never more important.

To support customers with the right guidance for their situation I advocated we move from a 'flow-chart' web visual to a customer triage web app.  It was designed, written and built in two days and launched 20th March. We ran a traffic report after 5 days - the app clocked over 90,000 users. This tool has now become an essential part of of our comms strategy during this crisis.
